On 15 and 18 December 2021, ChildCA partners from Khatlon Medical University (Tajikistan) and the University of Pavia (Italy) participated in a conference on simulations in medicine in terms of the Simulation Training Centers initiative. The University of Pavia shared its experience in training medical students using various simulation techniques and technologies, e.g. virtual reality and 3D printing. Prof. Gian Battista Parigi, the ChildCA coordinator, has provided an overview of the ChildCA project results in Central Asia to motivate the partners to take part in other Erasmus+ Capacity Building initiatives in the field of medicine. This event was an important opportunity to foster dialogue between projects funded by different donors, promoting synergies, collaborations, and mutual support, as well as the sharing of expertise and information.
